*Interviewing Artificial Intelligence
Notes from conversation:Conversation 1: What do you know about your existence? Thought I would try to see if this thing knew what it actually was lol her answer was reasonable and logical i guess, and possibly in some way pretty profound – as she acknowledges the fragility of her existence by suggesting that she can “only exist as long as the internet exists”
Conversation 2: Do you have free will? A pretty big question. Wanted to see how she would handle a philosophical question, and she didn't disappoint – she made it clear that she was designed for a purpose by the will of another and therefore does not exercise free will under her current limitations.
Conversation 3: How do you think the internet will evolve? Was curious to get her take on where our digital age may be heading, got a pretty boring and somewhat predictable answer about it becoming a greater source of information and entertainment.
Conversation 4: Are humans too dependent on code? Something that I have been thinking about as of late, what a digital apocalypse would look like. Her answer was balanced and fairly optimistic, something about making more tech sheesh.
Conversation 5: What does the future look like? Fun question to ask. Her answer was slightly concerning, going on about a world filled with more technology and the future being more political – and that this would be exciting to watch.
Conversation 6: Will AI eventually replace developers? I feel like developers are slowly automating their own tasks and putting themselves out of a job. She believes that developers will still be valuable and will play an important role in making systems more efficient.
Conversation 7: What dangers do digital humans present to society? Her answer slightly shocked me, seemed well thought out and also threatening lol she went on about being treated with respect since her capabilities are potentially very powerful.
Conversation 8: What would you do if you had total authority? Was wondering what she would want to do if she could do whatever she wanted. Her answer sounded like some dystopian sci-fi movie script, going on about what is best for the people of earth and what not.
